Kellan's Classic Meatballs


Kellan Hori will be a contributing celebrity chef to the Hay Mama Blog and Recipes.  Here Kellan provides his favorite meat ball recipe to use with your Hay Mama grass-fed ground beef. These meatballs are fantastic for serving on pasta, as a main on their own, or frozen for future use.

1 lb Hay Mama Ground Beef
1 egg
½ cup Red Onion, fine diced
¼ cup Parsley, loose packed
¼ cup+ Bread Crumbs
2 tbsp Worsteshire Sauce
1+ Tsp Salt
Black Pepper

Add all ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Using your hands, mix well until all items are incorporated. Add more breadcrumbs if meat mixture feels too wet. 

Form into 1” round balls (golf balls) and place onto a parchment lined sheet tray.

Bake at 400* for 15-20 minutes, or pan fry in olive oil for 10 min.
